Dans ce livre, trois mondes cohabitent :
- Mon modèle, c’est mon petit-fils Louis, un petit garçon qui joue dans le jardin avec l’insouciance de l’enfance.
- La table, c’est mon studio en plein air, où je dépose les fruits tombés des arbres. Elle donne naissance à une variété de plantes. Louis a élu cette même table pour y faire un circuit pour ses petites voiture. Elle est devenue son point d’attache au jardin.
- Le jardin c’est le domaine des arbres fruitiers, du potager et des fleurs. C’est le monde où l’enfant gambade et fait des découvertes. Les chats adorent également s’y prélasser...

LUCIA RADOCHONSKA, née en 1948 en Pologne, vit en Belgique depuis 1958. Elle étudie la photographie à Saint-Luc Liège (1969-72). Elle expose dans le monde entier depuis 1973. Depuis 2012, elle est exposée au MOMA de New York dans la salle consacrée aux femmes. Première monographie publiée en 2009 (Ed. Yellow Now), couvrant 30 ans de création.

In this book, three worlds coexist:

— My model is my grandson Louis, a little boy who plays in the garden with the carefree spirit of childhood.
— The table is my open-air studio, where I place fruits fallen from the trees. It gives life to a variety of plants. Louis has also claimed this same table to set up a track for his toy cars. It has become his point of connection to the garden.
— The garden is the realm of fruit trees, vegetable patches and flowers. It is the world where the child roams freely and makes discoveries. The cats love to lounge there too…

LUCIA RADOCHONSKA, born in 1948 in Poland, has lived in Belgium since 1958. She studied photography at Saint-Luc Liège (1969–72) and has exhibited worldwide since 1973. Since 2012, her work has been on permanent display at MoMA New York in the gallery dedicated to women. Her first monograph was published in 2009 (Ed. Yellow Now), spanning 30 years of creative work.
